Baritones
Jason Hawke (principal)
Jason started in the band at age 9 on baritone, often attending band practice on the back of his Mum’s moped from Trevelmond – sister village to St. Pinnock.
Jason’s musical youth included the piano and progressing to Solo Euphonium of the band at the age of 16. Following a brief Spanish sabbatical – of close to 20 years – Jason returned to the band in 2015 and looking for a quiet time on 2nd Baritone, again found himself sitting ‘on the end chair’. Jason’s return to the UK is thanks to his union with Sarah – a St. Pinnock Euphonium colleague from ‘back-in-the-day’.
Jason looks forward to helping the band back into Section 1.
